Похоже, что китайский производитель чипов SMIC всё понял и заверяет, что ни в коем разе не нарушал антирфашистских санкций на торговлю "запрещенкой".

Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp (SMIC) on Wednesday said that it has never had any customers in Russia, assuaging investor concerns that the Chinese contract chip maker could be punished by Washington over potential violations of US economic sanctions on the country for invading Ukraine.

SMIC relies on US-origin technologies and equipment for its various chip process nodes. Its existing 14-nanometre process, however, is generations behind those used by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co and South Korea’s Samsung Electronics.
